Hawberry Motel

The staff was friendly. The bed was clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient. The room however was quite small and the bathroom even smaller. My wife and I are large people which made the bathroom a little difficult. Sitting on the toilet my legs were under the sink. My wife has mobility issues and found it hard to use the washroom. Just something to keep in mind. Despite the room being small, we had a good night's sleep. It's a nice little motel that is showing it's age a little. As long as you're not expecting a luxury resort, it's fine.

Great location in Little Current. Grocery store next door, gas station across the street, great ice cream joint a couple of minutes away, and you can walk right downtown to the waterfront and marina. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is clean and so are the rooms. But .... our room smelled like urine - as in maybe there was some sort of toilet leak and the smell got trapped in the subfloor and got covered up ... and the room next door that our friends stayed in smelled musty. If they can fix that we will definitely come back again the next time we are on the island.

Stayed 2 days. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Found the room clean, but a little small. Had issue with hot water on first night, but owners were quick to rectify by upgrading our room at no extra charge to suite, which was much more comfortable. If we stay here again would opt for suite.

Not a bad little hotel for the price. We booked here last minute and were not sure what to expect. The rooms are a bit dated but the beds where comfy. The location is just steps for downtown and a short walk to the local Tim Hortons. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We would definately stay when we are in the area again.

The rooms are kind of retro style. Nice and clean rooms. Ample amount of parking space. Bedsheets were clean and in good condition. The bathtub is little small and hot water sometimes cut off while in shower (and little broken too in my room) otherwise nice and clean. The lady on the reception was very nice and welcoming. You can also enjoy the view from parking area.

Just passing through, I pulled in later in the evening and just needed a room for the night. Room was clean bed was clean had hot running water to shower and I got up well rested and carried on my way. I would recommend good value too for being on the island... I thought anyway. Thank you

I stayed here in Aug 2025, not really knowing what to expect. I was skeptical because I'm more used to chain hotels like Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, etc, but this place was pretty good. The room was clean and had everything I needed - a bed, a shower, a fridge, and a little desk and chair. The woman at the front desk was very polite and friendly. As for location, I guess whether or not it's good depends on what you're looking for. In my case, I stayed here specifically because I wanted to see Manitoulin Island, and this was a great place to start that tour. Plus, it was a good place to end my drive for the day, so for me, it was a perfect location. Of course, this is not a Hilton or Hampton Inn, or a five-star resort with all the amenities. If you go here expecting that, you'll be disappointed... but if you go there realizing that this is a small roadside motel in a small town, it's a great place to spend a night or two as you explore the island.

Very clean and quite place. Bed was very comfortable. Easy checking in and check out. Very friendly place. Fully recommended
